Okanagan Manufacturing Database Launched
The Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission (COEDC) has launched a new Manufacturing Databaseprofiling over 700 manufacturers from Salmon Arm to Osoyoos. This resource provides detailed information on each organization’s products, key inputs, and industries served—offering a clearer view of the region’s manufacturing capabilities. I’m reaching out to you today to share this resource and ask for your help in sharing with manufacturers in your community and networks.
While COEDC’s jurisdiction is focused on the Central Okanagan, we saw strategic value in expanding the scope. Given the interconnected nature of regional supply chains and the opportunity to foster cross-community collaboration, we included manufacturers from across the broader Okanagan corridor to ensure broad representation.
This initiative was accelerated in response to evolving Canada–U.S. trade dynamics and the growing need for stronger regional awareness and coordination. By showcasing the depth and diversity of our manufacturing ecosystem, we aim to support new opportunities for supply chain resilience, investment, and innovation.
